The VOK Marketplace is a curated destination for South African makers, small businesses and personalised-gift creators. Every seller is approved by the Verlief op Kreatief team and agrees to uphold our Seller Standards so customers can shop with confidence.
Small businesses, home businesses, handmade creators, artists, crafters, personalised gift businesses, boutique clothing brands, event suppliers, corporate gift suppliers and local South African entrepreneurs.
All applications include a Seller Application form, ID verification, banking details and acceptance of the Seller Standards Contract. Applicants must also submit a physical sample product for quality review. Approval is at the sole discretion of Verlief op Kreatief.
Every seller submits at least one sample product packaged exactly as it would be sent to a paying customer. Samples are assessed for quality, workmanship, packaging, presentation, branding, materials and accuracy of description. Submitting a sample does not guarantee approval.
Second-hand goods, counterfeit products, illegal products, adult products, weapons, live animals, medicines, vape products, alcohol, tobacco, hazardous products and fake branded items are not permitted on the marketplace.
Every listing must include an accurate product name, full description, materials, colours, sizes, personalisation options, production time, delivery estimate and clear high-resolution photos of the actual product. Misleading, watermarked or copied images are not permitted.
Sellers must dispatch orders within the promised production time, communicate any delays immediately, package products securely and provide tracking where available. Repeated late deliveries may result in a performance review.
Customers pay via secure VOK payment channels. Sellers receive weekly payouts to their registered bank account. The R99 monthly membership covers platform access, listings and payment processing — there is no additional commission.
Sellers comply with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA). If a seller error occurs — wrong item, incorrect personalisation, damaged product, faulty workmanship or incorrect size — the seller is responsible for correcting it under the VOK Return Policy.
Sellers must protect customer information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Customer data may only be used to fulfil marketplace orders and never for unsolicited marketing.
Sellers may not misrepresent products, sell counterfeit goods, manipulate reviews, copy other sellers' listings, or route marketplace orders off-platform to avoid fees. Breaches may result in suspension or removal.
Sellers are monitored monthly against rating, dispatch time, response time, cancellation rate and complaint volume. Consistent top performers earn the VOK Verified Seller badge on their store.
Verlief op Kreatief reserves the right to suspend or remove any seller who breaches the Seller Standards, the Policy Manual or applicable South African law. Sellers may cancel their membership at any time — payouts of pending balances are processed on the next cycle.
This Policy Manual may be updated from time to time. Material changes are communicated to sellers by email and posted in the seller dashboard.
